If you’d like to meet new people but you don’t know where to start, then we have the answer.
Every Wednesday and Saturday morning So Social Ivybridge meets over a coffee and cake at ‘The Bridge Community Cafe‘ in Ivybridge. On the face of it, it might look like a coffee morning, but it is much more than that.
The group is a place to make friends, plan outings and catch up on the week’s news. There are also ‘spin-off’ groups like the Ivybridge Bloomers; So Social Art from the Heart and Spanish lessons.
If you go along you’re likely to find yourself filling up your diary with lots of opportunities to engage and have fun.
So Social is run by mother and daughter team, Morgana and Shirley Weeks. They are inspired by bringing people together so that friendships can be made and sustained.
In this week’s ‘Everything Ivybridge’ Lucy Richards and Liz Scott are discovering what makes So Social so popular.
