Forgetting True Nature

‘When I forget I’m OK I forget they’re OK’

These words, from my coaching client, landed deeply for me. We were in the middle of a wonderful coaching conversation and I paused to write down what she said. These words are so true and are at the heart of our work at the Inner Compass Guide.

I still have times when I feel overwhelmed or anxious. But nowadays I don’t get busy trying to fix these uncomfortable feelings. Why would I? All that has happened is that I have forgotten my true nature.

Our Wellbeing Listener programmes help clients to see that resilience and wellbeing isn’t a by-product of circumstances. We don’t need to encourage people to learn strategies for a more peaceful life.

Our work is about helping others to remember that our fundamental nature (true nature) is happiness, love and connection.

When I forget I’m OK, I forget that my client is OK too. In that space of forgetting I might feel insecure, I want to fix and I find myself feeling frustrated.

When I remember I’m OK I experience a profound level of connection and I look within, to the core and essence of my very being.

Why not start the most nourishing of reflective journeys. Take time to explore your true nature and to reconnect with the pre-existing power-house of who you truly are. As we remember our true nature then we naturally share this in the world.
