Tuesday afternoons – 2pm-3.30pm

19th October- 7th December at The Library

Open to all (18+) – no need to book

Welcome to the Ivybridge Community Hub. My name is Liz (from Inner Compass Guide CIC). I’d also like to introduce Jessica. She’s the Ivybridge Community Connector.

We’d like to welcome you to the Ivybridge Community Hub.

What is the Community Hub?

The Community Hub is a free drop-in at the Watermark. Each week a community group in Ivybridge joins us to share what they do.

During the autumn we’ll be meeting in the library to try out different activities – it’s completely free.

There is always alot of laughter, fun and conversation (plus a free cup of tea).

There’s No Need to Join.

If you’ve ever been tempted by joining a community group but have had concerns like:

  • “What if I go and I don’t like it?”
  • “What if it isn’t my kind of thing?”
  • “What if no-one talks to me?”

Then the Community Hub is for you.

There’s no pressure to join with the taster activities. Just come and sit with your cuppa and listen/observe, we’d still love to see you.

No-one will try to make you sign up to anything.

You’ll also have time to chat with other people and enjoy some of the great activities that Ivybridge has on offer.

There’s no charge. You’ll get a free cup of tea or coffee. You’ll have a chance to safely enjoy a bite-sized taster session in a small informal group.

Here’s a run down of what we’re planning each Tuesday between 2pm and 3.30pm:

  • 19th October: Singing with the Community Choir
  • 26th October: Gardening with Ivybridge Bloomers
  • 2nd November. Yoga with Becky Hickman.
  • 9th November. Book Club with Lidstone Library
  • 16th November. Arts and Crafts with Jenny and/or Cluna
  • 23rd November. Table Tennis with Ivybridge Table Tennis Club.
  • 30th November. Drama session with Margaret from Ivybridge Community Arts

Thanks to:

  • Devon County Council “Reconnect Rebuild Recover” community fund which has allowed us to continue our Autumn 2021 programme.

  • The Coop who are providing the refreshments.

Wellbeing in Action

Wellbeing isn’t dependant on any of these things.
