Alcohol and Me
February 9, 2020

When Lu Sheffield confronted her relationship with alcohol she discovered an uncomfortable truth.

It wasn’t just a harmless way to unwind and have fun – she was using alcohol to mask feelings and to promote a persona that was confident, funny and accepted by others.

What followed since this realisation has been an openness and curiosity with Lu about her relationship with alcohol.

Lu was surprised to see that alcohol was a way of hiding her true self, she also saw that she was concerned about what others thought.

In this vulnerable, honest and open conversation with Stu Newberry, Lu Sheffield shares how her relationship with alcohol looks now and what she’s learned about herself.

She starts this interview by explaining how her love of writing is providing her with a gateway into a deeper understanding of sharing the Inside-Out understanding with others. Then Lu explores how she’s starting to become aware of the part alcohol is playing in her life. Watch the interview here
